在马来西亚开展业务的公司都必须向当地地方政府申请营业执照和招牌执照。然而，这些许可证的申请资料会因地方当局而异(每个州属区域都有不同的要求)。

　　一般而言，申请营业执照和招牌执照需要以下文件 :

　　1、公司注册文件 - SSM

　　2、申请人的身份证和护照彩色副本 - IC and Passport  photocopy with colour

　　3、买卖/租约合同 - SPA/Tenancy Agreement

　　4、建筑证书 - CF

　　5、消防认证 - Jabatan Bomba

　　6、公司招牌位置的照片 - Photographs showing the location of the company's signboard

　　7、招牌的设计和颜色样本 - Samples of the signboard indicating its design and colors

　　8、公司店铺/办公室的位置图 - Copy of the location plan of the company's business premise

　　9、公司店铺/办公室的照片- Copy of the photo of the company's business premise
